Charmed Season 8

Charmed season 8 was the last season in the series and was first broadcast in 2005 to 2006. Featuring the last 22 episodes, in a total of 178 spread over 8 seasons. Charmed focuses on the lives of the Halliwell sister’s, Piper (Holly Marie Combs), Phoebe (Rose McGowan) and Paige (Rose McGowan). The last in a long line of powerful white witches, prophesised to protect the innocent and battle the demonic supernatural forces that oppose them.

The final season of the ever popular show begins with the de facto aftermath of the previous seasons cataclysmic final episode “Something Wicca This Way Goes” when the Halliwell’s basement was blown to pieces on live television with various police units federal authorities attempting to raid it from the outside, while Paige, Phoebe and Piper battle to free their manor from the evil and powerful demon Zankou. This took place while the sisters to take back the Nexus after it had fallen to his trickery in a final attempt to defeat him.

With Inspector Sheridan being sent in to investigate and consequentially being killed by the demons Zankou’s energy ball and the whole event being caught on camera, Special Agent Keyes ordered the FBI, SFPD’s SWAT, Special Forces and HazMat teams all to the manor immediately.

With all these people witnessing the cataclysm as the Halliwell’s basement exploded, in the final scene in the series, and the sisters (magically disguised) sneaking away with Leo, noticed only by Darryl Morris

And so, charmed season 8 commences with everyone believing the Charmed Ones to be dead. Although they are actually alive and playing the role of their fictional cousins, ironically with Phoebe and Paige both taking the place of themselves as employees.

Meanwhile, the demons, warlock and all other demonic entities are seeking to prove the definite death or the otherwise, of the charmed ones.

Charmed season 8 concludes with the last ever episode, entitled “Forever Charmed” broadcast in May 2006. Will the Charmed Ones fulfil their ultimate destiny and rid the world of evil or will they succumb to the demonic forces that surround them?
